The win notched Head Coach Butch Jones's first signature win at Tennessee and marked a turning point in the program's rebuilding process following the infamous Dooley era. Dobbs played a crucial role in defeating the 'Dawgs, racking up 430 yards of total offense and accounting for 5 total touchdowns (3 passing, 2 rushing).
